Awesome service & friendly team

I engaged St Albans removals to move from a storage container to a second floor flat. Before the move date communication was excellent and a potentially stressful day was made worry free.

The move was done efficiently and with the utmost care for my items. Issues in the storage facility (broken lift) were handled with good humour and positivity and a can-do attitude.

Big shout out to Alfie and the team - they were professional, friendly and made the whole experience a pleasure. Highly recommended.

We were fortunate to find this removal company who were able to fit our move in at very short notice. Alfie & his team worked tirelessly on what turned out to be a very long day. At one point the lift broke down which is very unhelpful when you are moving from a third floor apartment! The whole team were polite & efficient & remained good humoured throughout the whole process. They were respectful of our property & belongings & we have no hesitation in recommending them.

The move went well and on time. Nothing was damaged and Alfie was most helpful.

Local move - great team - highly recommended!!!

We used St Albans Removals for our recent house move and we were very happy with their service. Alfie came round the day after I called to assess our needs and discuss various options. He was very friendly and flexible, and gave us a very reasonable, fixed price quote (with deposit upfront and remainder on the move date). We chose a part-packing option where we borrowed boxes in advance and packed all the non-breakable items ourselves. The day before the move, Alfie and his team (Matt & Aaron) spent 4-5 hours carefully packing all the breakable items and loading all the boxes into a van. On the day of the move, they loaded the remaining heavy furniture into a second van. There was a 2 hour wait over lunchtime until our sale and purchase both went through legally, and Alfie's team waited patiently until we got the keys. They then unloaded all the boxes and furniture into the new house, re-assembled the beds, dining table and sofa, and placed everything where we wanted it, leaving about 5.30pm, so a very long day for them. We then unpacked all the boxes over the next 2 weeks and Alfie returned to collect them, so they could be re-used. Everything went smoothly, and Alfie, Matt and Aaron couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and reliable. We were very pleased with their service and how everything went, and we would definitely recommend them to others. We incurred a small extra charge as we had to postpone the move date by one day, but that was understandable, and fortunately Alfie and his team could still accommodate us. Our sincere thanks to Alfie and his team! Great job!

Excellent work, some recommendations for future

I had a wonderful experience using St Albans removals for my house move from Luton to Norwich. Competitive pricing, skilled staff who shifted my 2BHK property from a second floor apartment to a town house. Alfie clearly is experienced and is very professional. Completed a tough and tiring job in one day and fixed my beds back together in my new house. Will use them again if need be.

St Albans Removal Company’s 5 Unique Selling Points are the following.

1. Customer Care. Alfie the owner personally oversaw this huge move from Shenley Hertfordshire to Newcastle upon Tyne. He was extremely kind, caring and had a beautiful sense of humour.

2.Economical. St Albans Removals beat the other companies by hundreds of pounds. Wow!

3.Went the extra mile. We needed the 1st of June at short notice. No one else could do it but Alfie and his team put in the extra effort and made it happen.

4.Very polite. Alfie and his whole team were extremely kind and made the whole experience a wonderful memory.

5.Outstanding Skill. No matter what needed to be moved or dismantled or put back together St Albans Removals did it.
